The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have eliminated each and every affliction, purified their minds and become the reliance for all beings. “I will offer the 108 lights for myself or loved ones, sincerely beseech for Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva's blessings and guidance, eliminating all the afflictions in my body and mind, diligently cultivate, increase bliss and wisdom, purifying the 108 afflictions, having wisdom life after life, not falling into the 3 miserable realms, eventually attaining ultimate freedom. ”
